The Giddy Goat is a cafe and coffee shop tucked away on Gipps Road in Keiraville, offering a laid-back spot for locals to settle in with a well-made coffee and a casual bite. This place feels like part of the neighborhood fabric, where familiar faces regularly pop in for their morning fix or a relaxed catch-up over cake and coffee.

Inside, the atmosphere is welcoming but unpretentious — the kind of spot where you can enjoy some quiet time with a book or strike up a conversation with locals who clearly know the place well. The coffee here is consistent and carefully crafted, with simple yet thoughtful offerings that suit a range of tastes, from traditional brews to kid-friendly options like frothy babycinos.

While The Giddy Goat is primarily known for its coffee and breakfast fare, it has recently expanded to serve pizzas on certain nights, which locals have warmly embraced. This addition brings a casual evening vibe without feeling like a typical pizza joint — it’s a neighborhood spot expanding to meet local appetite in a way that fits its unassuming style.

Visitors tend to appreciate the variety on offer, especially those who might want to mix and match sides with their main meals, including gluten-free options, making it a versatile choice for diverse dietary preferences. The overall vibe is relaxed, with friendly, efficient service that makes the place approachable whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a fuller meal.

The best time to drop by is during the morning or early afternoon when the cafe hums softly with locals stopping by for breakfast or a midday refreshment. However, pizza nights offer a nice alternative for those looking for a casual dinner in a familiar local setting without stepping too far from home.

In short, The Giddy Goat suits those after dependable coffee and approachable food offerings in a spot where community and familiarity come naturally. It’s a comfortable, everyday kind of place where the pace is unhurried and the focus is on solid food, well-made drinks, and a relaxed local atmosphere.

Not only do they do great, consistent coffee, they now do incredible pizzas a few nights a week. We ordered some for their first pizza night and loved it! Way better pizzas than some leading pizza restaurants in Wollongong, seriously! Awesome job guys.

A nice little cafe that is not pretentious and makes great coffee with a lovely local atmosphere. The food was high quality and they offer a good variety of sides that you can add to the main meal and create your own mini bites. We enjoyed chatting to the locals, which is always a good sign when they frequent a place. We had the egg hotpot with a side of chicken, halloumi and gluten free toast. It was enough for two of us to share and mix and match. The coffee was great.

I used to come here often when I lived nearby, so it was nice coming back years later and seeing familiar faces. Still making great food and coffee. Good prices too.

Nicely tucked away in old keiraville, this cafe has a nice selection of baked goods including freshly baked muffins, cupcakes, toasted sammies and gluten free treats. The covfefe menu is simple and well priced. We had super friendly and quick service with a expertly frothed babycino that our little one loved.

Visited from NY and we love this little cafe! We ate here daily for brekkie. Coffee has rich flavor and ingredients are fresh. Obsessed with the egg hot pot!! Food takes a minute but that’s because it’s cooked to order and piping hot. Good value.

Absolutely amazing - ordered takeaway pizzas and they were delicious, cooked to perfection! Love that it's a family owned and operated business. Love supporting local. Highly recommend - we'll be back for sure!

Nice coffee, relaxed vibe and friendly service - even helped me secure my coffee lid so it wouldn’t spill in my bike basket!
